Liscence. Tama ba ung spelling? Anyway, I'm getting my liscence today with my brother! I'm finally going to drive a car that isn't bound by a certain area and is not by a 3 minute whistle in Enchanted Kingdom. Actually, I'm getting a student's liscence as opposed to a non-professional liscence. I can't drive without a non-pro inside the car. So, that means I can drive with a chaperone - sounds good enough for me. I have to wait til I'm eighteen and pass the non-pro exam or (wink...wink) to get my non-pro liscence. I'm going to go on driving school tomorrow. I'm finally 16 years old!

How was Shadow of the Colossus?
Not a good game. You control a warrior equipped with a sword plus a bow and arrow. The cool thing about the game was this horse, Argo, you have to control. Shadow of the Colossus features 16 colossal bosses each level decked down with nice and majestic landscapes. The game has superb graphics! But, what sucks was the gameplay - how are you suppose to know where the bosses are and the map was completely useless. The plot seemed dry revolving around saving this damsel in distress. One thing disturbing was the horse! The horse was really obese and if you hit it with a bow and arrow it would run away from you. Kewl.
It's worth a try but I suggest not buying the game fake or not. Just save money for a gun and buy Time Crisis II. I don't really have any awaited games this month or for the next months.
Lastly, I'd like to share the top ten things I do at home during the summer (1 is the thing I do the most, for fun, no household chores included here...)
10. Read Les Miserables.
9. Browse my review books.
8. Be a loser in a game of chess against both my brothers.
7. Play Shadow of the Colossus and other PS2 games
6. Eat a diverse array of food ranging from senorita saging, apple pie to tinapa.
5. Spend hours on the phone with Kamae and Patrick.
4. Shoot and be crazy with Time Crisis II
3. Play baseball with my cousins using an arnis stick.
2. Update my blog and surf the Net.
at ang number 1...
1. Watch TV and be a couch potato.
Yep. Save me from boredom. I've been in the house only for a few days and I'm desperate. Enjoy pa rin naman eh kasi Los Banos next tas baka matuloy sa June yung La Union na-reseched.

I never really got the whole "Walls of Jerico" concept from the Bible story which came in much later. I just wanted a street layout - and I was looking for a cool title and this is what came up. Haha. So, eto na un... Enjoy my blog. Pa-tag na rin!

Talisay, according to some local that hitched a ride on us, was literally named after a plant vernacularly called talisay. It's a grassy-like plant in water and it makes you itch when you swim. Wondering why Talisay was named after this plant? It's because Talisay is one of the cities nearest to Taal Lake. (Papasa na ba akong tour guide?)
The famous Taal Lake is home to Taal Island (duh!). Taal Island is home to Taal Volcano (ang talino ko no!). And, Taal Volcano has never erupted since the 1960s and it's last slight erruption was in 1998. It's well known for it's nice crater on top because of a lake in the crater with an islet in the middle of that lake. The picture show the crater. It has been a popular short destination in Batangas along with the busy streets of Lemery, cool scenery of Tagaytay and its capital Lipa.
Going to Taal Volcano takes about 3 hours depending on whether you'd take a horseback ride or not. (But, I bet it would have been faster if we just hiked it. Yep, we rode horses.) First, you'd have to take a boat ride from Talisay to the island. It takes about 30 minutes - and you'd still enjoy it since Taal lake has a nice scenery. Then, ride a horse towards the peak. Then, it's over. I kinda think the horse ride was NOT WORTH IT. Since, I could've hiked the entire distance and it would've been easier. The horses were horrible. They looked like they were not eating enough and I quote the manager of the horse riding union "Ser, pinapakaen, ala, ng mga baytamens yan po. Kase po ang kabayo dito sa Pilipinas, ala eh, mapapayat." I enjoyed the horse ride when i'm not thinking how much my uncle had to pay for it. Suggestion, take the alternate route which can lead right into the crater!!
I guess the best part was the resort. We swam into a small private pool and I haven't swim with the cousins of my mom's side for around 3 years already. Di papala marunong lumangoy si Justin ng mahusay. I've enjoyed the whole Friday. And, I want to go back to Talisay some other time... this time, no horsing around.
